Old-school boogies are making a comeback this summer as Little Feat and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band fire off their five-night "Dirty Feat" Tour! Sunday, June 22, 2025: the two groups will hit Redmond in King County, taking the Marymoor Amphitheater out for a spin on their decades-defying musical legacy.
Funky hitmakers Little Feat cheers a hard-earned GRAMMY Award nomination for their new album, Sam’s Place, while honoring their classics. From the "Dixie Chicken" bop and "Spanish Moon" to swamp-rock Billboard chart-toppers like "Hate to Lose Your Lovin’" and "Texas Twister." Up next, you’ll enjoy the irrepressible Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, three-time GRAMMY recipients and purveyors of 1980s country rock. "Mr. Bojangles." "Modern Day Romance." "Fishin’ in the Dark." Bet on any of their signature Platinum hits, and NGDB will make sure you come out a winner. Dance. Sing. Celebrate these treasured cornerstones of American music. Get your "Dirty Feat" tickets now before we’re fully booked!
It’s finally happening. For the first time in history, Little Feat and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band are combining forces in the spectacular "Dirty Feat" Tour, a limited five-city concert series through the Western US. After a sendoff in Airway Heights, the tour will travel further west until they land at the Marymoor Amphitheater on June 22, 2025. Memory lane awaits with the eclectic (and deliciously eccentric) rock music that soared before the 21st century!
In high spirits following their blues album’s (Sam’s Place) Grammy Award nomination, Little Feat is a band reborn. These Southern funk frontrunners, known for the feverish boogie of "Dixie Chicken" and "Fat Man in the Bathtub," grant this concert a trove full of refreshingly unconventional music that defies the passage of time. Decades of dance stepped in tune with their sound, hallmarked by offbeat songwriting, exceptional musicianship, and the taste of New Orleans. When the jig is up, Little Feat can still blow you away with powerful anthems like Mainstream Rock number-ones "Texas Twister," "Hate to Lose Your Lovin’," and several other jazz-rock melds of Gold and Platinum caliber.
Not one to be upstaged, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band of "Mr. Bojangles" acclaim matches their co-stars’ offerings decade after decade. Another six-man group on the stage makes a classic dozen. Except this one has a rootsy twist, a bluegrass-branded take on the superior country rock. The 3x Grammy Award-winning other half of "Dirty Feat" 2025 captivated the young and hip of the 1980s, packing the airwaves with Billboard Hot Country chart-toppers such as "Modern Day Romance" and the Platinum-certified "Fishin’ in the Dark." This Sunday, revisit the era, untroubled as the NGDB wheels in their signature triple album, Will the Circle Be Unbroken, and its visionary singles.
