Festival! The title, an anagram for Slash’s mantra, will bring in an all-star lineup up and they will travel across 27 major cities together! Kicking off in July, the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival will come to the Marymoor Amphitheatre! The year 2024 is just beginning but already we can tell that it will be a very significant year for Slash! The multi-award-winning guitarist has made two massive announcements that would delight fans. First, the legendary guitarist will be coming out with a new solo studio effort, Orgy of the Damned - which is set for release in Spring. Meanwhile, fans will get to experience this thrilling new music live when they catch Slash at the highly anticipated S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival! Slash’s love for blues music is so great that he has created an entire fledged festival that will be covering over 20 cities in North America! This new music extravaganza brings together a specially curated list of performers, including his friends Warren Haynes Band, Samantha Fish, and Eric Gales.
In a statement, Slash shared an agenda for using rock and roll to “celebrate the unity and togetherness in these uncertain and divisive times.” The acclaimed guitarist also shared his desire “to support and uplift people and communities suffering from injustices of racism, equal rights violations, as well as to support children adversely affected by war and poverty across the world. Slash shared, “So, we are contributing a portion of every ticket and VIP package sold from the tour to those ends.” Ultimately, the guitarist Jue hopes folks will get together and have a great time listening to music for a day.
With a power-packed line-up, the festival is guaranteed to be a sensational hit among rock and roll lovers and blues fanatics. Firstly, the show will feature the highly acclaimed and Grammy Award-winning guitarist Slash. Rising to prominence as the guitarist for the legendary band Guns ‘N Roses, Slash has also created an incredible solo career.
